These carrot microgreens actually taste like the carrot root! They carry the same flavorful punch and distinctive aroma, but in a light and airy green shoot. 

 

Use

Eat these greens fresh, without cooking. Add them just before serving a hot dish, or add them to a cold dish like coleslaw. You can also use them to add the flavour of carrots to something that you might not normally add carrots to. For example, sandwiches.

 

Nutrition

Carrot greens are rich in most of the same vitamins and minerals as carrot root, like vitamin C and A, as well as potassium and protein. However, the greens also contain chlorophyll and vitamin K, which is lacking in the root.
